This series of books on a colour theme promises to be quite popular among the children who are members of the Osu Children's Library Fund libraries in Ghana. The books feature photos that were taken in Mali, Mozambique, Ghana and Burkina Faso. A set of the books has been translated into Dioula, a language spoken in Burkina Faso where no books are available for children in that language.Preparing the books for printing in two languages (English, Dioula) presented some technical design challenges and some aesthetic compromises. They still came off looking great and make a wonderful little series. The books will be printed in June 2007.
