Ghana@50

On March 6, 2007 Ghana celebrated its 50th anniversary of independence from colonial powers. It was the first sub-Saharan African country to declare independence, and the whole nation was partying. Kathy Knowles, director of Osu Children's Library Fund, put together this pictorial tribute to the nation and people she has come to love.
