A Swahili Alphabet Book

On a recent trip to the southern part of the African continent, Osu Children's Library Fund director Kathy Knowles noted that there was a huge scarcity of reading material for children--virtually no children's books in Swahili. Building on the success of A is for Ampe An Alphbet Book from Ghana, Knowles decided to publish a similar version in Swahili with photos primarily from Tanzania. The result is A kwa Amani. I helped design the book and prepared the files for printing.
