Hand in Hand with Haiti

Since 2004 I have been associated with a group that goes to Haiti at the beginning of the year for a one week health care mission. We link up with the El Shaddai Church community in Bon Repos, a suburb of Port au Prince. All of us come back inspired by this visionary and courageous group of Christians working to improve their community. They have taken a step of faith to build a community centre which will house their worship sanctuary, a health clinic, a feeding centre and a small school. The efforts are supported at the Canadian end by a physician, an architect, a medical mission charity and a small group of committed friends of the project. We are now fund raising for the building project as well as ongoing program support. I designed the invitation shown here, a display for events and a DVD of images and music.
