This valuable but diminishing resource provides a livelihood for many, but is imperiled by loggers who harvest trees illegally, despite efforts to manage the forest reserve properly. Amoako and the Forest shows children how a forest reserve is managed and the steps in harvesting trees. It follows Otu Goes to Sea, a book about commercial fishing in Ghana.
