
Lea and Leon Dorge lived in Ste. Agathe, Manitoba on the bank of the Red River for 50 years when the Flood of the Century forced them to evacuate in 1997. Subsequently the province expropriated their property and Leon suffered a stroke. MDS leveraged their resettlement payment and built the Dorges a beautiful, wheelchair accessible home. Lea says “I love my house more and more every day.”
