Healthy Smile, Happy Child

Healthy Smile, Happy Child is a Manitoba based initiative which addresses the issue of dental health in kids under 5 years of age. Under the leadership of Dr. Robert J. Schroth I have been working on the development of educational resources using positive example imagery to encourage proper oral health in pre school aged kids. Each year in Manitoba about 400 children have their rotten teeth pulled or capped with stainless steel because of Early Childhood Tooth Decay. This is preventable with proper dental hygiene. The resource was first developed in English, then translated to French and now the latest edition is in Cree. My work included the photography, layout and design.
